OILDALE, Calif. — This year the Beardsley School District is switching up their breakfast and lunch options. And no, we're not talking about the menu.
The Beardsley School District will be offering healthy breakfasts and lunches for free at participating schools. These schools include Beardsley Elementary, San Lauren Elementary, North Beardsley Elementary, and Beardsley Junior High.
It's all thanks to the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program called the Community Eligibility Provision. All enrolled students are eligible.
There's no application process or fee and any student taking part in after school programs are eligible for a snack or supper for free as well.
