Bakersfield Police Arrests Two Men For Armed Robbery

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Two men are in custody following a take-over style robbery at a T-Mobile store, according to Bakersfield Police.

Officers were notified of two armed suspects near the Columbus Street store just before 7 p.m. Thursday. Responding officers saw the possible suspect vehicle in the area of Q Street.

When police tried to stop the vehicle, three people fled, according to BPD. All three were captured.

Deshon Forbes (25) and Lionel Marzett (22) were both arrested for armed robbery, false imprisonment, gang participation and additional charges. Both were booked into the Kern County Jail.

The third subject was released pending further investigation.
