Bakersfield man killed in single-vehicle crash in Visalia Sunday

VISALIA, Calif. — The California Highway Patrol reported a Bakersfield man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Visalia Sunday morning.

According to the CHP, around 4 a.m. Sunday, a 99 Lexus RX300 was heading northbound on Highway 99, just north of Avenue 44, when for unknown reasons it rolled over.

Visalia CHP officers responded and found the driver was ejected from the car. The driver was declared dead at the scene.

The driver's identity is unknown pending an autopsy by the Tulare County Coroner.
