Bakersfield Heart Hospital property gains new ownership under The Sanders Trust, an Alabama based firm

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The land and building that are home to the Bakersfield Heart Hospital now have a new owner. That's according to The Sanders Trust, an Alabama based healthcare real estate and development firm.

The firm announcing Tuesday that they acquired the 85,971 square foot facility that was built in 2001. They say that the Heart Hospital will continue to be owned and managed by their current team of more than 400 employees, cardiologists, physicians and surgeons.

The Sanders Trust is pleased to have the opportunity to acquire this state-of-the-art healthcare facility nationally known for its award-winning cardiac care, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction

According to The Sanders Trust, the Heart Hospital is the only hospital in California designated as an accredited Heart Failure Center by The American College of Cardiology.
