The Bakersfield Dome, an iconic former home to boxing matches, will soon be no more.
The Dome's owner, Chencho Madera, confirmed with 23ABC that the Dome will be sold to the Geo Group. Madera says the Geo Group will tear down the Dome then work to expand the Mesa Verde ICE processing center.
