BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — After the deadly mass shootings across the country, Bakersfield College is now gearing up to hold active shooter response training on campus.
Officials say they're doing this so that the campus and community can be familiar with the best practices, drills, exercises, and preparation.
The first training session will be held Thursday, September 5 at noon at BC's Levan Center.
There will be other training sessions in September and October.
