Bakersfield College will be hosting their 104th annual commencement celebration on Friday.
This year Bakersfield College had 1,889 students eligible to graduate, making it the largest in Bakersfield College history.
The celebration on May 11 is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be held at Memorial Stadium.
Prior to the commencement ceremony, Bakersfield College will be holding pre-commencement ceremonies for individual groups of students.
The Chicano/Latino Pre-Commencement Celebration will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Bakersfield College Outdoor Theatre.
The African American Pre-Commencement Celebration will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Bakersfield College Indoor Theatre.
The Veterans Pre-Commencement Celebration will begin at 4 p.m. in the Bakersfield College Renegade Room.
The Delano Pre-Commencement Celebration will start at 9 a.m. in the DST Building on the Delano Campus.
The Industrial Automation Baccalaureate Degree Pre-Commencement Celebration is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. at Renegade Park on the Bakersfield College Campus.
