BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — He's man's best friend, but not a dog.
This four-legged, agricultural poster-animal is a calf, who lives right here in Bakersfield and he's going viral on social media, inducing laughter all over the nation.
Jerry Garcia, the calf's owner, named the six-week-old ball of joy "Chug" because of the way he gulps milk.
Unlike other calves who modestly take sips of their milk, Chug dives right in, inserting his entire head into a bucket full of milk -- all filmed and posted on Facebook by Garcia.
"Within 24 hours that main video got two million views which was crazy to me," Garcia said.
Since then, Garcia has been getting "outrageous offers" from people all over the nation who want to purchase Chug.
But, Garcia said his favorite pet isn't going anywhere.
