BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — An arrest has been made in the case of vandalism at Luigi's Restaurant and Delicatessen in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, 27-year-old Manuel Roque was arreted Wednesday for burglary and vandalism.
On Tuesday at around 10 p.m., the BPD responded to a break-in at Luigi's and found the front door smashed in. No one was found inside and they were unable to determine if anything had been taken.
At the time of the break-in, owner Gino Valpredo said something had to be done about the rash of vandalism hitting businesses downtown.
"It's just frustrating because I feel like there is soultions to be had because everyone truthfully fed up."
Roque faces charges of 2nd degree burglary as well as vandalism.
