BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to Alta Sierra Ski Resorts Instagram account page, due to overnight rain the resorts loading and unloading ramps were washed out causing the resort to close for the day.

Officials say the storm bring showers could turn into snow, however the resort must stay closed. As of now there is no information when the resort plans to re-open.
