CALIFORNIA CITY, Calif. — An additional $30,000 is now being offered in the case of the two boys reported missing in California City on Dec. 21.

The extended family of the boys confirmed through a family statement posted on Medium and shared with 23ABC News that they will put up "$30,000 for information that will lead to the return of the boys."

This increases the total reward money to $80,000 in the case of missing 3-year-old Orson West and missing 4-year-old Orrin West.

Jamal Watkins, the oldest brother of the boys' adoptive father Trezell West, told 23ABC News that statements from the extended family "do not represent or speak for the adoptive parents. We are concerned grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins who are all focused on finding the boys and uncovering the truth about what has happened."

Prior to this additional reward, the California City council unanimously voted for a $25,000 reward to be offered to anyone who provides information that leads to the conviction or arrest of a suspect in the case, or to the location of the boys.
