BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Pacific Health Education Cognitive Center Inc. on Friday announced they would be launching a new service to help reduce anxiety due to COVID-19 concerns.
Thursday night Gov. Newsom enacted a stay home order, asking Californians to stay home and practice social distancing. In response to this order the Cognitive Center is launching a Tele-Communication Hotline in Kern County to combat those feelings of anxiety associated with social distancing.
Employees of the center were asked to work remotely as to keep themselves safe while allowing them to continue to provide this service to their patients as well as anyone else in the community who could benefit from this.
Tele-Connection services are free to the center's patients as well as residents of Kern County.
The support group's toll-free number is 888-415-0604.
