BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — If you're looking for a job, things might be a little difficult for you right now and you might even be feeling a little discouraged.

Josh Conner with JobFest Kern County says don't get discouraged.

Conner joined 23ABC Monday morning to talk about some tips for job seekers amid the pandemic. Those tips include:

  • Staying positive.
  • Find ways to make your resume/profile stand out.
  • Network with industry people online, even if they aren't hiring right now. They might be soon.
  • Don't be discouraged if you don't get the exact position you want at first, as long as you get your foot in the door.
