BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Many in search of a job are experiencing a different hiring process than ever before. One thing that hasn't changed us the nerve-wracking job interview.

Josh Conner from JobFest Kern County joined 23ABC this morning with some tips to help prepare.

"You can actually talk yourself right out of a job. Some employers will be really comfortable with you and you're going to feel really relaxed and want to sit back and say 'oh I love this place,' but you can't. You have to be honest, professional and just know you're here to help this company."

Conner said if you're heading into an interview, remember that employers are looking for a unique candidate and a person with problem-solving skills.
