There's new information on a rare condition some kids with COVID-19 have developed. New studies show 285 United States cases of Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome between March and May. Of that six children died.
The syndrome typically causes a fever and inflammation in at least two organs. The studies show that at least 35 states have had cases and they seem to happen a few weeks after local COVID-19 activity peaks.
About 80-percent of kids who developed the syndrome had heart problems.
The condition also seemed to affect boys more than girls.
Researchers still don't know if adults can get it.
