BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — While we're in the middle of a pandemic it's important to remember that we are still fighting the flu.
So far this year Kern County has not seen any flu-related deaths. But the department also says that data is only available for people under the age of 18.
If you're looking to get a flu shot public health is offering a free flu shot clinic on Sunday. It's happening at the Kern County Fairgrounds. The event is a drive-thru and starts at 7 a.m. No registration is required.
If you go be sure to stay in your car and wear a face mask while getting your shot.
