BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Don’t expect free food samples during your next Costco run. The chain is temporarily suspending the practice amid coronavirus fears.

This includes our Costco in Bakersfield, an official confirmed with 23ABC.

The store located on 3800 Rosedale Highway also confirmed that they are limiting each shopper to only two packs of paper towels, water and toilet paper.

Business Insider also reported the retailer is pulling the samples from all stores in the United States and China.

The company that handles Costco’s free samples confirmed to Business Insider the practice is on hold.
