BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — California voters have returned 10,612,498 vote-by-mail ballots as of Sunday.

The new figure was announced by the California Secretary of State's Office Twitter page.

Election day is on Tuesday, November 3.

Thousands of residents in Kern County are expected to vote at a polling site.

There are 150 polling places this year in Kern County. That's more than we had in March. Kern County is one of the only counties in the state that added more polling places in spite of the pandemic.
