BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Miguel Valdovinos, the man arrested in connection to a carjacking and attempting kidnapping, entered a not guilty plea on all counts.
On Monday, Valdovinos , 24, was arrested for carjacking, attempted kidnapping, criminal threats, robbery and resisting arrest after police watched him try to carjack a woman's car with her kids inside of it in the 1000 block of South Owens Street. According to police, Valdovino said he had a gun during the incident, however, none was seen or located.
Police said after they approached him, he ran. He was arrested a short time later in the 800 block of East California Avenue.
his bail is set at $125,000 and his next court date is October 13.
