BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — According to the Kern County Sheriff's office, deputies responded to an area of Jastro Avenue and Feliz Drive following reports of 6-7 shots heard in the area.

There were reports of several cars speeding away following the shots heard.

Deputies found several shell casings.

It has been confirmed that two housed that were occupied were hit along with an occupied car.

No victims have been found.

A current investigation is being conducted.
