A man wanted in connection to s murder was among three people shot in Bakersfield on Thursday evening just before 6 p.m.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Kentucky Street after receiving reports of a shooting. When they arrived they found three men associated with an illegal marijuana dispensary suffering gunshot wounds and about 40 bullet casings in the parking lot.
A search of the Premier Marijuana Shop revealed two illegal weapons.
Among the wounded men was 38-year-old Todd Cobb, who was wanted in connection to a murder that happened on August 29th. In that incident, officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds in an alley in the 700 block of Niles Street. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cobb was placed under arrest for murder.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
