KCSO: Driver arrested after slow-speed chase in stolen vehicle

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Kern County Sheriff's Office arrested a driver Monday after the driver led deputies on a slow-speed pursuit in a stolen vehicle.

According to KCSO, deputies attempted to stop a vehicle around 6:04 p.m. Monday in the area of Decatur Street and Sequoia Drive. KCSO said the driver failed to stop and led deputies on a slow chase to the 800 block of Wilson Avenue.

KCSO deputies and air unit were able to follow the driver until they stopped. KCSO said the driver was taken into custody without incident.

KCSO said the driver was booked for driving a stolen vehicle, felony evading, and two active warrants.
