BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Former Assembly candidate Julie Solis was arrested for trespassing and refusing to leave Congressman Kevin McCarthy's Bakersfield office, located at 4100 Empire Drive, according to the Bakersfield Police Department and Congressman McCarthy's office.

Solis recorded herself via Facebook Live interacting with BPD officers inside the office before her arrest.

According to police records, Solis was booked Monday on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing and refusing to leave. She is being held on $2,500 bail.
