BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The Bakersfield Police Department responded to reports of a man down on Sonora Street. Upon arrival they found a man shot and drove him to a local hospital where he later died.
The identity of the victim will be released later as this is an ongoing investigation. Authorities later identified the man who was killed as Rolando Gonzales, 58, of Bakersfield.
