BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Wonderful Citrus told 23ABC that a temporary employee who had not been on-site at their Delano location in over 14 days has tested positive for the coronavirus.
Employees who may have been in contact with the COVID-19 positive employee are now self-quarantining and not reporting to work.
"We have also been in touch with local health officials and have taken immediate steps recommended by them and the CDC, which include thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the entire facility and screening all employees for any signs of illness," a spokesperson for Wonderful Citrus said.
