BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Bakersfield Music Theatre & Stars Theatre Restaurant Board of Directors have decided to suspend all events effective now until a time frame determined by government officials and the CDC.

The BMT/Stars Board of Directors and staff will be closely monitoring the situation over the upcoming weeks, keeping up-to-date with public health guidelines and recommendations.

If you have purchased tickets to "Annie Get Your Gun" or "Middletown," BMT/Stars staff will contact you by phone and email within the next 72 hours to discuss options. If you have tickets for either canceled show, do not call the box office or theatre at this time their full staff will be contacting patrons over the next few days to answer questions and facilitate requests.

When contacted, you will have a few options for how to move forward:

Donate your ticket and receive a tax-deductible receipt for the total ticket value. Your ticket donation would help BMT/Stars mitigate a portion of the financial stress this necessary closure will cause the organization.

Receive a complimentary ticket voucher for a future production at Stars Theatre Restaurant and/or Stars Playhouse.
