BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Sheriff Youngblood issued the following updates regarding COVID-19.
- Twenty of his employees have COVID-19, 18 of those are self-isolating at home.
- Two employees have returned to work, more are expected to come back next week.
- Nine inmates currently have the virus, this number has not increases, as they believe the virus is contained to one area of a facility.
