In-Shape Health Clubs will be shutting down indoor services at the end of Tuesday.

In-Shape sent out an email to members saying the move is due to Kern County moving back into the purple tier. It says it will pause membership billing and apply any credit to members who pre-paid for services.

The gym chain will offer outdoor services at select locations. In Bakersfield, the In-Shape gyms on Coffee Road and Seven Oaks will be offering outdoor services.
