RIDGECREST, Calif. — Ridgecrest Regional Hosipital president/CEO Jim Suver provided an update and response following the news of a first positive case for RRH.

Suver assures residents the hospital is prepared with the right equipment and updates residents on how the hospital will be handling operations, including having people call before coming in to keep their healthcare employees safe.

"The hospital will be able to handle a coronavirus outbreak in our community. We thought it was in the best interest to share this first test result, because we want to continue to be transparent and honest with our community."

Suver asks the community to follow CDC recommendations of social distancing and keeping hands clean.
