BAKERSFIELD, Calif — A Bakersfield photographer like many in her profession has canceled and postponed their services due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Since having to stay at home, Jocelyn Moss, the owner of Ivy Lane photography began taking daily unique quarantine photos.

Moss says she has received positive feedback online from viewers.

One viewer of hers writes, "I am sitting here wondering what Finn and Jocelyn Moss Newfield comes up for today's photo."

Moss's photos feature her five-year-old son, Finn Newfield. S

ome of the pictures include him participating in different activities from star gazing, fishing, and cooking.

"A lot of people will message me and say they look forward to it every day and it brightens their day," Moss said. "I have other photographers ask how I do things because they want to do the same thing."

Moss takes a photo and creates a scene for each day. She has been doing this since being at home, due to COVID-19. Now, she is on day 39.

Normally this is Moss's busiest time of the year completing prom, graduation, and wedding photoshoots.

Since the Coronavirus outbreak, she has canceled all shoots through May.

"It's helped me a lot and it has given me something to do every day," Moss said. "We live in the mountains so there is a lot of places we can and still stay away from people."
