BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — The COVID-19 vaccine is set to arrive in Kern County Tuesday, with nearly 6,000 doses being distributed locally.
The health department will receive the shipment of doses first before distributing them to nearly a dozen local hospitals. The majority of the doses will be going to Kern Medical, Memorial, and Adventist Health Bakersfield.
Dr. Jonathan Dario from Adventist Health joined 23ABC Live this morning to explain what will happen when the vaccines arrive.
