Lowe's has confirmed a case of COVID-19 at a Bakersfield location.
In a statement, a Lowe's spokesman said "The well-being of our associates and customers is Lowe’s priority, and we have confirmed a COVID-19 case of a Lowe’s associate at our Bakersfield store, located at 6200 Colony Street. The associate has been quarantined and is receiving care. This associate last worked on April 8."
The spokesman also said that "in response to COVID-19, Lowe’s today announced a second $80 million special payment to hourly associates and several changes to further support our associates and customers.
