BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Lightning in a Bottle Music Festival announces they cannot offer refunds to the canceled event scheduled for Memorial Day 2020.
"Sadly, we cannot offer refunds for the canceled event," organizers said in a press release. "We are, however, working on a plan to make you whole over the next few LIB’s. This will include a system for crediting you for future years."
Organizers say that if you took part in a layaway plan, all future payments have been suspended.
On March 13, the festival was officially canceled but the update for refunds was not announced until Saturday. The organizers say they are already planning a new Lightning in a Bottle Festival for Memorial Day 2021.
