BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — KROBAR Craft Distillery has recently announced it will be using its distillery to produce hand sanitizer to help area hospitals, emergency services and public works departments and the general public as well.
News of the distillery's hand sanitizer productions resulted in called from hospitals and local government agencies throughout California.
Co-owners Jenny and Joe Barton both from Kern County, will be traveling back to Bakersfield on Wednesday to hand out sanitizer to first responders at 5 p.m.
The hand sanitizer – made from 80 % ethanol alcohol – is in compliance with FDA’s strict guidelines and is approved for use by hospitals and by emergency responders, as well as the general public. KROBAR Sanitizer can be used for hand cleaning as well as a surface disinfectant.
KROBAR Sanitizer is available in four sizes. For the general public, prices are:
