BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Kern High School District's Nutrition Services Department will provide free breakfast and lunch to all children 2 to 18 years-old during school closures through April 9.

All schools operated by the district will serve grab-and-go meals between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Students can receive meals through the drive-thu location or may walk up. Students need to be present to receive a meal.

If you decide to drive up, please stay in your vehicle.

Students who have special meal accommodations need to communicate that with the Nutrition Services office staff by calling (661) 827-3190.

Nutrition Services is working on implementing transportation services to distribute meals directly to the most vulnerable students.
