Kern County coronavirus cases rise to 98

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — During the Kern County Board of Supervisors Tuesday meeting, it was announced that there are now 98 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Kern County, including 23 positive cases among non-residents.

According to Kern County Public Health , there are 1,791 negative tests and 1,201 pending tests, bringing a total of 3,093 tests.

The board is expected to ratify a proclamation for a local health emergency. This allows for implementing plans and resources for health care needs.
