An independent group of scientists has confirmed the safety of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine according to Governor Gavin Newsom.
The group unanimously voted to quickly distribute the vaccine throughout the Western United States.
The panel provided their findings to the governors of Nevada, Oregon, California and Washington.
The Western States formed the Group back in October to verify the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines as they are approved by the FDA.
According to Newsom the 17 person panel has met five times so far with two of the meetings being within the past two weeks.
