SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KERO) — Governor Gavin Newsom is scheduled to provide an update on the state's response to the COVID crisis coming up at noon Monday.
COVID-19 cases are continuing to climb according to the county's dashboard which is updated at 1 p.m. each day. The number of positive tests is approaching the 79,000 mark with 542 deaths.
The number of people hospitalized has jumped to 424 with more than 43,000 people reportedly isolating at home.
This as more people are trying to get vaccinated.
