Some alarming new predictions about deaths of despair. That's people who die prematurely from alcohol, drugs, or suicide.

Well Being Trust, a national foundation, said if unemployment and issues of isolation and loneliness continue at this rate as many as 75,000 additional deaths may be tied to despair.

But it is preventable. The foundation says people have to get socially connected and talking about mental health. It's also urging Congress to invest in more efforts.

For now, there is a free 24-7 crisis line at 741-741. You can text the word "home" to that number and someone will respond right away.
