Forest Service closes developed recreation sites until April 30 in response to stay at home order

The Pacific Southwest Region of the Forest Service, announced today, it's going to close developed recreation facilities in California in response to COVID-19 concerns and the statewide stay at home order.

“Developed recreation sites” refer to designated recreational use areas designed for the public.

Closures are effective immediately until at least April 30, designated recreation sites will be closed but the forest area including trails will remain open to the public.

Call your local Ranger Station Monday through Friday from 8 a.m to 4:30 p.m. for current forest information:
