The death toll from COVID-19 in Kern County has risen by three in the past 24 hours. According to Public Health, Kern County has now hit the 80 mark for total deaths due to COVID-19.
Health officials are also reporting more than 5,100 cases locally. More than 3,600 residents have recovered.
Officials also reporting nearly 63,000 or just under 92 percent of tests have come back negative.
