Costco implementing special operating hours for members who are 60 and older

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Beginning Tuesday, Costco is implementing special operating hours for members who are 60 and older.

Costco will reserve the first hour from 8 to 9 a.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays for senior shoppers.

The pharmacy will also be open during this hour; however the food court will maintain its normal operating schedule. These hours apply to all locations except the Business Centers, which will remain open during regular hours.

Costco, Walgreens and Trader Joe's join the growing list of foods retailers offering senior shopping hours during the COVID-19 crisis.

Walgreens begins reserving the first hour of every Tuesday to senior customers this week, from 8 to 9 a.m.
