California Department of Public Health launches new awareness campaign

The California Department of Public Health is launching a new campaign urging residents to stay at home for the holidays.

The new campaign is called "Mothers" and it features mothers across California urging people to avoid traveling for the holidays.

The new campaign will run throughout the state during the month of December and January. The state has recorded 21,860 deaths due to the virus since March.
