Halloween did not keep people from going out to watch the World Series Tuesday night.

Local fans in Dodger blue packed Firestone Grill as the Dodgers took on the Houston Astros in game 6.

Christina Cabrera said Halloween took a back seat to baseball for the night.

"That's what the weekend before is for. Tonight is for the world series for sure," she said.

Richard Limones said his son was understanding when he told him this year, grandma would be the one taking him trick or treating.

"I told my son the dodgers are playing tonight and I know he wants to go trick or treating. So I made that happen for him."

The crowd went wild at Firestone when the game ended in a 3-1 Dodger victory.

The Dodgers have not won a World Series since 1988.

Wednesday is game 7 of the series in Los Angeles.
