A man and 2-year-old were killed during a rollover crash on southbound I-5 just north of Bear Mountain Boulevard this morning.
The crash happened just after 2 a.m. According to CHP, a single vehicle occupied by 6 people rolled multiple times and went off the roadway. CHP says a man and 2-year-old were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
CHP says a woman, 1-year-old, and 14-year-old were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Officers say not everyone in the vehicle was properly restrained.
CHP also says could have been tired and may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing the crash.
