Kern County and California State University Bakersfield continue to celebrate diversity and Black History Month, recognizing and having former Bakersfield Police Chief Lyle martin speak as part of their ethics in leadership series.
"I was honored and humbled to be asked to sit down and have a conversation about leadership," said Martin. "Again, the support that I got as Chief at the Bakersfield Police Department, I continue to have that support from the community in my new role at the district attorney's office. I just feel blessed to be from Bakersfield and Kern County."
Martin is now the chief district attorney investigator for the Kern County District Attorney's Office.
