BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Mayor Karen Goh released a message as a response to recent events and the death of George Floyd.
Goh said she and other city leaders are reviewing policies regarding policing and working with the community to address concerns among the public.
She said anyone interested in "taking part in the discussion" can do so by emailing her officer at mayor@bakersfieldcity.us.
"By working together we will build trust, we will see change, and we will create a stronger community."
