BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Wesley Davis, Vice President of the Wendale Davis Foundation, joined 23ABC this morning to discuss calls for social justice and last night's NBA boycotts.

A number of NBA, MLB, and MLS teams decided to boycott their seasons Wednesday night, in light of the recent shooting of Jacob Blake, a 29-year-old Black man shot from behind seven times by a police officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Davis said although these issues are getting more national attention in recent months, they're issues he's understood since he was a child.
