BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — Californians are casting their ballots Tuesday in the recall election of Gov. Gavin Newsom.

It's been a months long effort that organizers say began with his handling of the pandemic.

23ABC discussed the recall election with Matthew Martin from the Kern County Republicans including the latest polls and if Newsom is replaced what changes they're hoping for.
