BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The 4th of July is the biggest holiday week since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and many believe as people continue to emerge from self-isolation, it's going to cause a few problems.
The Sheriff's Search and Rescue unit will be positioned around the County on July 4th weekend, ready if they're called to pull someone out of a dangerous situation.
Sgt. Zachary Bittle joined 23ABC's morning team to talk about the expectations and what families can do to better protect themselves.
